Wikki Tourists Unveil 30-Man Squad For Gusau Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament
Wikki Tourists FC have wrapped up the first phase of their preparations ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Bauchi-based club has named a 30-man squad for the upcoming Gusau Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament scheduled to hold in Katsina State.
The club’s Technical Adviser, Bala Abubakar, disclosed this on Thursday while addressing journalists after a training session at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
Abubakar said the team is well-prepared for the tournament, which he described as a key part of their build-up to the new NNL campaign.
He noted that the first phase of player assessment has been completed successfully, adding that the second phase of screening will commence immediately after the pre-season tournament.
The coach called on supporters of the club to continue to pray for and support the team, assuring them of the technical crew’s commitment to securing promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
He also appreciated the Bauchi State Government and the management of Wikki Tourists for their support.
“With the support of our fans, the government, and the club management, we are determined to build a strong and competitive team capable of returning Wikki Tourists FC to the Premier League, by the grace of God,” Abubakar said.
