Portable Opens Up On Why He Calls Out Top Artists Like Olamide, Wizkid, Davido
Nigerian street-pop star Portable has revealed the real reason behind his frequent rants about some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.

The controversial singer, who is known for dragging top acts like Olamide, Wizkid, and Davido, said his outbursts are not out of hate, but because he wants to get closer to them.

Speaking in a recent interview/clip circulating online, Portable explained that calling them out is his own way of seeking attention and connection.
“If you see me drag Olamide, the reason is because I want to chill with him. If you see me drag Wizkid, I want to chill with him. If you see me drag Davido, I want to spend his money,” he said.
Portable however praised Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide and Wizkid, saying they have tried in helping to push upcoming artists and “blowing people up.”

He contrasted them with Fuji legends, claiming that Fuji icons like K1 De Ultimate, Pasuma and Osupa Saheed are not doing enough to lift underground Fuji artistes.
The clip has since sparked mixed reactions online, with fans debating his approach to seeking support in the industry.
