Daniel Regha Questions Pastor Jerry Eze’s Miracles Following Death of Actor Alexx Ekubo
Controversial media personality Daniel Regha has sparked online debate after questioning why popular cleric Pastor Jerry Eze could not heal Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, despite their reported close relationship.

Regha pointed to a 2023 photo and video that showed Pastor Jerry praying for Ekubo, noting that the actor reportedly began battling advanced metastatic kidney cancer in 2024 before passing away in 2026.

According to Regha, the situation raises questions given Pastor Eze’s reputation for miraculous healings and his role as a friend and spiritual mentor to the late actor.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Regha wrote:
“Pastor Jerry Eze has been said to have performed lots of miracles over the years, Alex Ekubo was his good friend and there’s even a picture/video of the same Pastor Jerry seriously praying for him in 2023. In 2024, just over a year, Alex reportedly started battling with advanced metastatic kidney and sadly lost his life in 2026. Now, why wasn’t Pastor Jerry able to heal him between those years since he performs miracles, they knew each other, and he was his spiritual mentor? And let’s not forget that Pastor Jerry’s slogan is ‘What God cannot do does not exist’. He was present at Alex’s service of songs, but didn’t heal him while alive? Make it make sense.”
His comment has since drawn mixed reactions online. While some users defended faith healing and noted that only God can heal, others supported Regha’s line of questioning.

@BarUdoh commented: “Humans don’t heal even the doctors will tell you this. It’s only God can heal.”

@yioyic added: “Is pastor Eze God? even in the time of Christ people died.”

@anointingfire89 said: “You meant to say ‘God has performed lots of miracles over the years through Pastor Jerry’ because no man can perform miracles only God can perform miracles.”

Others like @EyedBluntTruth were more critical of miracle claims.
