Businesswoman in Port Harcourt Laments After Sales Girl Allegedly Diverts Funds From Sales
A businesswoman based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has cried out over the alleged dishonest behavior of her sales girl.

According to reports, the sales girl was entrusted with the day-to-day running of the shop, but allegedly sold goods and kept the money for herself without remitting it to her boss.

The business owner said she only discovered the alleged act after she began to record unexplained losses in her business. She expressed heartbreak over the situation, noting how employee dishonesty is killing small businesses in Nigeria.

“This is why businesses in Nigeria don’t survive because of wicked workers,”
Her story, which was shared online, has triggered conversations on social media, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences about dealing with untrustworthy staff.
