Bolaji Ogunmola Reveals Retirement Plan: “I Want To Own 1,000 Movies”

Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has opened up about her long-term financial plan, saying she is intentionally building wealth through movie ownership.

Speaking about securing her future beyond acting, the actress disclosed that her goal is to own 1,000 movies as her retirement cushion.

According to her, she already owns 100 movies in her catalogue, which she values at a minimum of $1 million if acquired by a major streaming platform or production company.

In her words:
“My retirement plan is to own 1,000 movies. I currently own 100, and if a big company wants to buy those 100 movies, they’d have to pay at least $1 million. I’m building my retirement fund through movies.”
Ogunmola explained that her focus is on creating long-term assets that will continue to generate value even after she steps away from active acting, rather than depending solely on appearance fees.

Her statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans praising her business mindset and others questioning the valuation of YouTube movies.
