Apama Denies Being TMT Ambassador, Says He Warned Company Before VDM Intervention
Nigerian entertainer Apama has spoken out following calls for his arrest over his alleged link to TMT Travels and Tours, which is currently under investigation for allegedly scamming Nigerians with visa-related transactions.

Apama, who has been mentioned among personalities allegedly associated with the travel company, denied ever serving as an ambassador for TMT. He also stated that he never received any money from the company or had his visa processed by them.

In his words:
“For those saying I should be arrested, I have never collected a dime from TMT. I’m not his ambassador, and he has never processed any visa for me.”
The skit maker further revealed that he had reached out to TMT earlier this year after hearing complaints from people who claimed the company owed them. He said he advised the company to settle those affected to avoid escalation.
“I even messaged TMT earlier this year, asking them to settle the people he was owing. If he had listened to me, this case wouldn’t have gotten to VeryDarkMan.”
His response comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding TMT Travels, with social media users questioning the involvement of public figures linked to the company. Some commenters had claimed Apama previously credited TMT for his trip to the United States.

The statement has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with many users weighing in on whether entertainers associated with the company should also be held accountable.
