Cubana Chief Priest Threatens Lawsuit Over Money Laundering Allegation, Demands Evidence From Rep. Chinedu Ogah
Popular businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has responded to money laundering allegations made against him by Honourable Chinedu Ogah, the lawmaker representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State.

Hon. Ogah had earlier called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the socialite’s source of wealth and financial dealings, questioning his business address and what he does for a living.

The call for investigation came after a viral video where Cubana Chief Priest criticized Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru.

Reacting to the allegation, Cubana Chief Priest denied any wrongdoing and accused the governor of sponsoring an attack on his personality. He also threatened legal action against the lawmaker and dared him to provide evidence to back up his claims.

In his words:
“Governor has sent his hitman to attack my personality. I will sue him. He should be ready to provide evidence.”
The exchange has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians debating the lawmaker’s call for an EFCC probe.

This comes two years after Cubana Chief Priest was previously prosecuted by the EFCC in 2024 before the Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged naira abuse.
