Kenneth Okonkwo Questions Tinubu, Peter Obi’s Presidential Ambitions, Says Both Endorsed Atiku in 2007 and 2019
Nollywood actor turned politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has said that both President Bola Tinubu and former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, previously endorsed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for president.

Okonkwo, who is a spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and an ally of Atiku, made the remark while speaking on opposition politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, Tinubu supported Atiku’s presidential bid in 2007, while Obi was Atiku’s running mate and endorsed his candidacy in the 2019 presidential election.

Speaking on the matter, Okonkwo said:
“Tinubu and Peter Obi Endorsed Atiku to be President in 2007 and 2019 respectively, What Are they Looking For again? You Already Endorsed Atiku, he’s the only man to be endorsed by both candidates.”
Okonkwo has been pushing for a united opposition front ahead of 2027, insisting that Atiku remains the strongest challenger to President Tinubu.

His comments have sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users said a joint Atiku-Obi ticket would be unbeatable, others criticized Okonkwo for what they described as political drama.
