Ogogo’s Daughter Kira Pens Emotional Tribute To Late Father: “I Wanted More Time With You”
Weeks after the burial of popular Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, famously known as Ogogo, his daughter Kira has shared her ongoing grief over his passing.

Kira, in a post made on Instagram on Thursday, September 3, 2026, shared a throwback video capturing a cherished moment with her father.

Ogogo reportedly passed away after a brief battle with cancer. His 8-day Fidau prayer was held on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Ilaro, Ogun State, with family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers in attendance to pay their last respects.

In the video shared by Kira, the father and daughter were seen sharing a lighthearted moment at a party. Kira could be seen playfully asking her father for a kiss on the cheek, a moment that highlighted their close bond.

In her caption, Kira opened up about the depth of her pain, admitting that her grief has sometimes turned into anger. She also spoke about missing his hugs and described losing him as the most painful heartbreak she has ever felt.

Her biggest regret, she revealed, was not having more time with him, as she had hoped he would live to meet her second child, who is yet to be born.

Her tribute has since drawn reactions from followers and well-wishers who have continued to send her messages of comfort.
