Onuachu Not For Sale, Trabzonspor President Declares
Trabzonspor President Ertugrul Dogan has shut down rumours over Paul Onuachu’s future, insisting the Super Eagles striker will remain at the Turkish club this summer.

Dogan’s comment comes amid links with a move to the Saudi Pro League and reports of Trabzonspor’s interest in Tottenham striker Richarlison.

The 32-year-old Nigerian was one of the standout performers last season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions — including 22 in the Turkish Super Lig to share the Golden Boot with Eldor Shomurodov of Istanbul Basaksehir.

Despite his impressive campaign, speculation about a departure has continued, especially with both the Saudi and Turkish windows still open after the major European window closed.

Reacting to the rumours, Dogan was emphatic:
“Paul Onuachu’s departure is not on the agenda. The top scorer of this league, there is no such situation,” he told Fotomac.
Onuachu, however, is yet to hit top form this term. He has failed to score or assist in his first five appearances in all competitions, a sharp contrast to last season when he scored twice in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 Turkish Cup final win over Konyaspor.

He will be hoping to end his drought when Trabzonspor host Genclerbirligi in the Super Lig on Sunday.
