Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has claimed that he reached out to UK-based cleric Pastor Tobi Adegboyega to intervene in the alleged detention of dancer Poco Lee.

Speaking during a recent livestream with a colleague, Peller said he personally asked Pastor Tobi to help facilitate Poco Lee’s release from prison.

According to Peller, the cleric responded that he could no longer intervene because the case had already been “transferred to Burna Boy.”

Peller added that Pastor Tobi had initially shown interest in getting involved before Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy took over the matter. He however refused to give more details about the situation.

In his words:
“I told pastor Tobi make them comot Poco Lee from prison. But him talk say na because them don transfer the case to them Burna Boy. But him [Pastor Tobi] him wan dey inside the case before but their Burna Boy… I no wan too talk about am. I just want let you know say Pastor Tobi na better man o”
The statement has triggered mixed reactions online, with many social media users confused about what Peller meant by a case being “transferred to Burna Boy” in the UK.

The circumstances surrounding Poco Lee’s alleged detention remain unclear as of press time.
