VeryDarkMan Showcases N190m School Project in Rivers, Hints at Launch of Ratel Political Party
Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has given an update on the secondary school project he is executing in Ahoada, Rivers State.
In a video making the rounds online, the activist took viewers on a tour of the facility, showing completed classrooms, a clinic, football field, perimeter fencing and other sections of the school. According to him, about N290 million has so far been spent on the project.
VeryDarkMan stated that the project was funded through donations and that every expense was properly documented. He stressed that quality materials were used and that only minor finishing touches are left to complete the school.
He also gave credit to Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy for supporting the project financially after he was asked to oversee the rebuilding of the school.
While showcasing the project, VeryDarkMan used the opportunity to announce his political plans, stating that the Ratel Political Party will soon emerge.
“Very soon, the Ratel political party is coming, so be ready to vote for us because there’s no government project that is better than what we’ve done here and that’s why you must vote for us,” he said.
He further challenged the government to show a public school that is better than the one he built, adding that credibility cannot be bought with money and that he would account for every naira spent.
The update has triggered mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians praising his transparency and impact, while others questioned his motive and his new political ambition.
