Founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), HRM King Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere, has secured international jobs for 104 Nigerians in Saudi Arabia.

The beneficiaries, trained at OPM’s free multi-skills acquisition centre, will work with an oil servicing company in Saudi Arabia after passing a rigorous screening conducted by the company itself in Nigeria.

Speaking to journalists in Port Harcourt on Friday, July 31, during the medical examinations for the successful candidates, Apostle Chinyere said the placement is part of his humanitarian mandate to support the poor and less privileged.

According to him, OPM runs 26 free vocational courses including pipeline laying, rigging, electrical/electronics, mechanical trades, and scaffolding. But certification without employment was a major challenge, which pushed him to travel abroad to source jobs for graduates.

“I decided to start searching, traveling out of the country and looking for companies that can employ them, so by the Grace of God, I was able to meet this Saudi Arabia oil servicing company and they need different people in various fields,” he said.

He disclosed that the Saudi company funded its own trip to Nigeria, paid for its own hotel and even declined a dinner invitation to ensure transparency in the recruitment process. Out of all who sat for the assessment, 104 were successful.

The successful candidates will receive free visas, flight tickets, accommodation and feeding from the employer.

Apostle Chinyere added that he has personally released funds to cover their international passport processing and medical examinations.

He said his motivation comes from his Christian faith and personal experience of hardship, noting that the Church must go beyond Sunday worship to empower jobless members. He stressed that beneficiaries were selected across religious and ethnic lines, including two Muslims from Gombe State and children of policemen who died in active service.

He said he charges nothing for the opportunity, only urging beneficiaries to pay it forward when they become established.

The latest placement adds to OPM’s string of welfare interventions, including 19 free estates, two free specialist hospitals, 43 free schools, a free school for children living with disabilities, a free girls technical college, and over 10,000 local and overseas scholarships.
