Toke Makinwa Unveils Daughter Yakira’s Face As She Clocks One
Media personality and TV host, Toke Makinwa, has finally revealed the face of her daughter, Yakira Eliana, as the little one celebrated her first birthday.
Makinwa, who welcomed Yakira in 2025, had until now kept her daughter away from the public eye, choosing to protect her privacy despite occasionally sharing snippets of their life together on Instagram and Snapchat.
To mark the milestone, the lifestyle entrepreneur shared adorable photos of Yakira dressed in a white and purple birthday outfit with ribbon-adorned hair.
Announcing the face reveal, she wrote:
“The best part of my story, finally yours to meet. Yakira Eliana. My precious answered prayer. My greatest love. My greatest blessing. One whole year of you, and today, I finally share a little piece of my heaven with the world. Happy birthday, Yakira Eliana, my YaYa, Ya Pom Pom, Ya mama, my little bum bum. Guys, meet your niece. I cooked ohhhhhh. She is beautiful.”
The post has since gone viral, with fans and fellow celebrities flooding her comment section with birthday wishes and congratulatory messages for the new mum.
This marks a new chapter for Makinwa, who has often described motherhood as one of the most fulfilling journeys of her life, coming years after intense public scrutiny following her divorce from fitness expert Maje Ayida.
