Juma Jux Denies Fathering Child With Another Woman, Threatens Legal Action

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has broken his silence on viral reports alleging that he secretly fathered a child with another woman.

The singer, who is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, described the allegation as completely false and said it has gone too far.

In a statement released in Swahili and translated to English, Juma Jux revealed that he initially ignored the rumour because he considered it baseless. He decided to address it after it resurfaced and continued to spread online, affecting his reputation.

According to him, he personally reached out to the woman at the centre of the claim when it first emerged. He said she denied ever meeting him in person or having any romantic relationship with him and even asked him not to give the issue attention.

Juma Jux stated that the woman confirmed “both in words and through her own voice” that she had never met him physically nor had any romantic affair with him.

Expressing his frustration, the singer said the false claim is now affecting “my name, my family, my businesses, and the image I have built over many years with sweat and hard work.”

He confirmed that the matter has now been handed over to legal authorities and warned bloggers and members of the public to stop spreading unverified information.

“I have built my name, my brand, and my businesses over many years through hard work, discipline, and strong commitment,” he said.

“Anyone who chooses to involve my name, my family, or my businesses in false claims must be prepared to be held accountable under the law.”

He concluded by saying he has chosen calm, truth, and the right legal steps.
