Police Attempt to Arrest Odumodublvck After BOHO Performance, Rapper Insists “It’s Illegal to Arrest Me Here”
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, was involved in a tense exchange with police officers in the early hours of Saturday after his performance at BOHO.
In a video now circulating on social media, officers were seen attempting to arrest the rapper at a club. Odumodublvck was heard challenging the officers and questioning the grounds for the arrest, stating, “It’s illegal to arrest me here.”
As of the time of filing this report, the reason behind the attempted arrest has not been officially confirmed. Some users on X (formerly Twitter) have speculated that it may be connected to his ongoing dispute with fellow rapper Blaqbonez and record label Chocolate City Music — a matter which has reportedly seen several police invitations in the past. However, there is no verified link between the BOHO incident and that case.
The incident has triggered mixed reactions online. While some Nigerians questioned the police’s motive, others criticized the rapper’s approach during the confrontation.
