Social media personality Flagboy has stirred controversy online after publicly renouncing his support for Nigerian politician Peter Obi and Ghana’s National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a video circulating on social media, Flagboy was seen setting fire to his NDC flag and Peter Obi-branded merchandise. While burning the items, he declared:
“Mama Pee, I have left Peter Obi and NDC for you. Eat it.”
The video, which was shared by The Benin Blogger on X (formerly Twitter), has since triggered mixed reactions from netizens. While some accused him of chasing clout and attention, others mocked his dramatic exit.
