Mo Bimpe Opens Up On Being Excluded From Children’s Parties Before Welcoming Triplets
Nollywood actress, Adebimpe Adedimeji, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has recounted a painful chapter of her life when she was deliberately left out of children’s celebrations because she was childless.

The actress disclosed this after attending the first birthday party of Rakeem Mkambala, son of Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux. She said she became emotional after the party as it reminded her of her own difficult journey.

Mo Bimpe revealed that for a long time, she was not invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, and children’s birthdays, even by people close to her.
“There was a time when I wasn’t invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, children’s birthdays, or anything related to kids. Sometimes, these were people I knew personally. People I laughed with, worked with, and genuinely cared about. I remember wondering what I had done wrong. Later, I found out that some people intentionally left me out because I didn’t have children. At the time, it hurt deeply,” she said.
She noted that the exclusion made her struggle with conception even more painful.
“I wanted to celebrate with people. I wanted to share in their joy. What many people don’t realize is that struggling to conceive is already hard enough. The waiting is hard. The questions are hard,” she added.
Mo Bimpe used the opportunity to call for more empathy towards women waiting to have children, stating that a woman without a child still deserves love, friendship and inclusion.

Her revelation comes months after she and her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, welcomed their triplet boys in May 2026 after years of waiting and public scrutiny. The couple have since described the birth as an answer to prayers, with Mo Bimpe recently summing up her journey as “From waiting to wonder. From tears to thanksgiving.”
