Veekee James Defends N1 Million Minimum Charge For Her Dresses

Popular Nigerian fashion designer and entrepreneur, Veekee James, has revealed why she doesn’t charge less than N1 million to make a dress.

Speaking about the growth of her fashion brand, Veekee explained that her pricing reflects the huge investment, time, expertise, and resources she has put into building her business over the years.

According to her, wearing a Veekee James piece comes with undeniable value and quality that cannot be priced lower.

In her words:
“I don’t charge below ₦1 million to sew a dress for a customer because I’ve invested so much in my business. Do you know the value you get when you wear my clothes? 😳”
Her statement has since triggered mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating luxury fashion pricing and whether brand prestige and craftsmanship justify such high costs.

The designer, who is known for her luxurious custom dresses, emphasized that she knows her worth and her target clientele.
