Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Dr. Emmanuel Ironbar, has congratulated Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a statesman whose life of service has left an enduring mark on Nigeria.
In a goodwill message on Tuesday, Ironbar joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the Vice President, whom he described as a “self-effacing and amiable leader” whose career spanning banking, public administration and national leadership has been marked by distinction and intellectual depth.
“On this unique occasion of your 60th birthday, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating our self-effacing and amiable Vice President. Your remarkable life has traversed banking, public administration and national leadership with uncommon distinction,” Ironbar said.
He said Shettima’s trajectory represents a rare blend of intellectual vigour, professional accomplishment, courage of conviction and fidelity to the Nigerian project, adding that his leadership journey continues to inspire generations of Nigerians.
According to him, the Vice President’s contributions to national development have been profound and consequential, with footprints that remain “indelible, inspiring and deeply impactful.”
“At sixty, your footprints across our national landscape remain indelible, consequential and profoundly inspiring. This is a moment to honour a life generously invested in the service of others and the advancement of our dear nation,” he added.
Ironbar prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the Vice President sound health, wisdom and divine favour, with renewed strength to continue serving the nation.
“May the years ahead yield greater accomplishments, deeper fulfilment and enduring peace. May your leadership continue to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s stability, prosperity and greatness,” he prayed.
On behalf of his family, the Chief of Staff congratulated Senator Shettima on the diamond jubilee and expressed confidence that he would continue to deploy his wealth of experience and statesmanship for a stronger, more prosperous and united Nigeria.
