Resurfaced 2021 Video Shows Soludo Praising Peter Obi’s Record in Anambra
A 2021 campaign video of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, commending his predecessor, Peter Obi, has resurfaced online and is generating fresh reactions.

In the clip, which was recorded before Soludo became governor, he acknowledged the achievements recorded during Obi’s administration under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Soludo had praised Obi’s performance in infrastructure and economic indicators in the state.

According to him in the video: “Peter Obi did relatively well as an APGA governor, he did the roads. Anambra State had poverty rate decline from 53% to 14.8% under Peter Obi. Anambra State had the lowest unemployment in Nigeria at 13%.”

The old footage has sparked debate on social media, coming amid the known political differences between both men. The video was described as Soludo praising the performance of former governor Peter Obi and speaking about Obi’s time as governor under APGA.

Many users have accused Soludo of contradicting his current stance on Obi, while Obi’s supporters say the video is proof that his record in Anambra was previously acknowledged.
