Nathaniel Idowu U-16 League: Week 2 Set For Showdown As Rivalries Intensify
The Nathaniel Idowu U-16 Football League returns for Matchday 2 this Saturday, September 12, 2026, with five fixtures lined up across two venues, following a high-scoring opening weekend that saw 22 goals.

Teams head into Week 2 looking to build on their first results, correct early mistakes, and climb the table early in the season.

Fortune FA, one of the early standouts, kicked off their campaign with a stunning comeback against St. Petersburg FA after going behind just 42 seconds into the game. Impact substitutions from Lateef Wasiu, Ibrahim Olaoye and Odesola Odunayo proved decisive, underlining the depth of their squad.

Divinely Blessed FA also grabbed attention on Matchday 1 after Ugwuokolie Chidalu scored after just six seconds. They will now be pushing to turn that explosive start into their first win.

Elsewhere, St. Petersburg FA will look to make their fast starts count when they face Seraphic FA, who will be desperate to bounce back from their heavy opening-day defeat.
