Aki’s Wife Reveals How Actor and Pawpaw Lived Together for Years Before Marriage
The wife of Nollywood veteran Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, Stephanie Promise Ikedieze, has shared an untold story about her husband’s close bond with his longtime screen partner, Osita Iheme, aka Pawpaw.

Speaking in a video that surfaced online on September 10, Stephanie revealed that Aki and Pawpaw lived together under the same roof for several years during the height of their career as Nollywood’s most beloved comic duo.

According to her, they only decided to part ways when she and Aki were set to begin their married life. The separation was so amicable that the two friends divided everything they owned equally – even down to their cutleries.

The revelation left everyone present in laughter, while Aki, who was seen nearby leaning on a walking stick, listened as his wife narrated the story. At one point, Stephanie stood up to allow him to sit.

Aki later clarified that their decision to stop living together was not due to any fight or misunderstanding. He noted that their friendship remains solid, but they simply moved into different phases of life.

Aki and Pawpaw rose to fame in the early 2000s for their unmatched on-screen chemistry and hilarious roles, but beyond Nollywood, they have maintained a real-life brotherhood that fans continue to admire.
