Nigerian skit maker and streamer, Carter Efe, has opened up on how Afrobeats superstar Davido changed his financial story in just one night.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Carter Efe revealed that Davido’s appearance on his stream gave him the biggest amount of money he has ever made from a single event.

According to him, while some people prefer to hoard opportunities and success, Davido is different and always willing to support others.

In his words:
“Davido made me the biggest money of my life on a stream in one night, I became a big boy overnight even when my ex was trying to come back. The rest people wetin them they do? They don’t want to share their glory, they are keeping their glory, glory that you will die and leave.”
Carter Efe’s comment is coming months after Davido made a surprise appearance on his Twitch livestream in December 2025.

The stream was a historic moment for African streaming – it pulled over 80,000 concurrent viewers, helped Carter gain over 139,000 followers in one night, and pushed him past 20,000 subscribers to become the most-followed African streamer on Twitch at the time.

The content creator has continued to credit Davido for one of the biggest career breakthroughs and financial wins of his life.
