Nollywood star Funke Akindele has reacted in her signature humorous style after a fan questioned her decision to keep her children’s faces off social media.

The award-winning actress shared a screenshot of the fan’s message which read, “Why do you keep hiding your children’s faces,” and replied with a playful answer: “because Y has a long tail and 2 branches.”

The cheeky response has since generated mixed reactions online.

While some netizens questioned why she posts photos of her twins at all if she intends to hide their identity, many others defended her, saying she is protecting her kids from online bullying, trolls, predators, and security threats that come with being a celebrity child.

Some fans also noted that as a public figure, keeping her children away from public scrutiny is a personal choice that should be respected.
