Iyabo Ojo Breaks Silence Amid Backlash, Says She Has No Regrets About Her Activism
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has spoken out following continued attacks targeted at her and her family.

In a lengthy statement shared on her social media page, the actress addressed the controversy surrounding her and cautioned the public against believing individuals who make allegations online without providing verifiable evidence.

According to Iyabo Ojo, she has never seen herself as just an ordinary actress or celebrity, noting that activism has always been a core part of her identity. She stated that her outspoken nature and decision to speak up on issues she believes in may be responsible for the criticism she receives.

Despite the backlash, the actress insisted that she has no regrets about her activism and would take the same stand again if given the opportunity, although she noted that she no longer brings such issues to social media.

She wrote in part:
“Anyone who alleges must prove. No one is above the law. Don’t be deceived. The law and justice will take their full course… I was never just an ordinary actress or celebrity. Activism has been, and will always be, a part of me. I have NO regrets. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for… All this noise these miscreants call ‘attacks’ is a result of my activism. And I honestly have no regrets because I have stood on the right path.”
Iyabo Ojo also dismissed suggestions that she would intentionally share false information on her platforms, stressing that she would never knowingly post fabricated content.

She further reassured her fans and loved ones who have expressed concern over her family, stating that her family remains protected and will continue to progress.
