Iyabo Ojo Thanks Shade Okoya, Others For Grandson Rakeem’s Lavish First Birthday Souvenirs
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has expressed gratitude to her friends and well-wishers for showering her grandson, Rakeem, with lavish birthday souvenirs ahead of his first birthday celebration.

The actress took to social media to share a video displaying some of the gifts, noting that “the grannies aren’t holding back” in making the milestone memorable.

Iyabo Ojo specifically appreciated businesswoman Shade Okoya, Obanla Lizzy, Lola Alao and two others for their thoughtful contributions.

In her caption, she wrote: “The grannies aren’t holding back. On behalf of Rakeem, we say a big thank you for these beautiful souvenirs. God bless you.”

This comes shortly after her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, also unveiled some of the souvenirs lined up for the celebration, which included school bags, scooters, baby oils and other gift items.

Rakeem, who is the son of Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, recently turned one. His parents marked the occasion with a public face reveal and a heartfelt prayer, followed by a private animal-themed party at their Lagos residence.

The intimate party was attended by close family and friends, including Iyabo Ojo, Layole Oyatogun, Enioluwa, and Mercy Aigbe’s children, Michelle and Juwon.

The family is said to be preparing for a bigger birthday celebration in Lagos in the coming days, with fans already praising the effort put into the first birthday.
