Nollywood Actress Sikiratu Sindodo Recounts Months-Long Battle With Life-Threatening Illness
Nollywood actress Sikiratu Sindodo has opened up about a severe health crisis that left her in a coma for months.

Speaking in a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, the Yoruba movie star revealed that her ordeal started with symptoms she thought was malaria and typhoid.

According to her, the condition gradually worsened despite visiting several hospitals.
“It started as malaria/typhoid, and became worse with time. I was sick like someone who had malaria. From one General Hospital to another. I can’t remember how long it lasted. I think it lasted for months because I was in a coma and was given a 50/50 chance. My mum was even told to go home,” she recounted.
Sikiratu disclosed that at the height of the illness, doctors told her mother she had only a 50% chance of survival, and at one point advised her family to go home.

The actress, who became emotional while sharing her story, expressed gratitude to God for her recovery.
“God answered a lot of prayers in my life. God has been faithful because I don’t want to be emotional,” she said.
Her revelation has since drawn reactions from fans and colleagues in the industry, many of whom thanked God for her recovery.

She also briefly addressed the longtime rumours linking her to MC Oluomo, saying, “The noise was too much. I didn’t know the noise would be that much.”
