Patience Ozokwo Endorses Peter Obi, Describes Nigeria As A “Spoiled Child”
Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, has declared her support for Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ozokwo made her endorsement public at a political gathering tagged “Celebrities for Peter Obi,” where she joined other entertainers to call for political change and rally support for Obi.

Speaking at the event, the actress described Nigeria as a nation richly blessed with natural and human resources, but yet to live up to its full potential.

“I see this country as a spoiled child,” she said. “There is nothing God did not provide for this nation. Other nations of the world, if they have one quarter of what God has given to us, they will be better than what they are today.”

She also lamented the inequality in the country, noting that wealth and opportunities have been concentrated in the hands of a few.

“Some people in this country have laid up for themselves for their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren,” she stated.

Ozokwo further charged her fellow celebrities to use their influence responsibly, saying: “Celebrities here, what we have, we have our faces. We have our integrity”.

Her endorsement comes as more Nigerian entertainers begin to openly declare their political preferences ahead of the 2027 polls.
