Police Officer Mistakes Nollywood Actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha for a Woman at Checkpoint

Nollywood actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha has shared a hilarious encounter he had with police officers while returning home.

The actor narrated the incident on X, stating that the vehicle he was traveling in was stopped at a police checkpoint.

According to him, he had a scarf wrapped around his head at the time, which left one of the officers confused about his gender. The officer reportedly asked, “Na man or na woman?”

In a bid to get through the checkpoint quickly, the rider accompanying him allegedly responded, “Na woman”.

Emeka, however, quickly corrected the impression, telling the officers, “I’m a man, please”.

Sharing the incident online, he wrote:
“In the ride home today the policeman stopped us and asked ‘Na man or na woman?’ I was tying a scarf 😪 Also the foolish Rider answered ‘Na woman’. In order for them to let us go quickly. I immediately responded ‘I’m a man please’ 🙂‍↕️”
The post has since generated mixed reactions online, with many users finding the exchange both funny and awkward.
