Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has opened up emotionally about not having the white wedding she always dreamed of.

The actress shared a video of herself looking stunning in a white bridal gown after attending the premiere of Folagade Banks’ movie. In her caption, she reflected on how life didn’t turn out exactly as she had planned.

According to Uche, people sometimes mourn not just what happened, but what they imagined would happen.

In her words:
“The wedding I never had. Sometimes, we grieve not just what happened, but what we imagined would happen. The dress, the vows, the celebration, the forever we thought we were building. Life didn’t go exactly as I imagined – but I’m learning that the story isn’t over. Maybe the wedding I never had was making room for a life I never knew I deserved.”
Her post comes just months after she opened up about her marital issues. In July, Uche announced her separation from her husband, Bobby, stating that she was tired and that she had given eight years of her life to the marriage.

The actress’s candid post has since sparked reactions from fans, with many showing support and encouraging her to keep hope alive.
