Ubi Franklin Offers Tech Solution To Tackle Flooding In Lagos
Music executive, Ubi Franklin, has stated that he possesses a technology capable of solving the perennial flooding problem in Lagos State.

Franklin made this known while expressing his willingness to partner with the state government to improve drainage and flood control across Lagos.

According to him, the technology can help clear blocked gutters and drainages, allowing for free flow of water and reducing the impact of floods in flood-prone areas.

In his words:
“I have a technology that can open up all the gutters in Lagos State and stop flooding, if the Commissioner for the Environment is ready.”
His offer comes at a time when residents continue to battle severe flooding, especially during heavy rainfall, with blocked drainage channels often cited as a major cause of water accumulation and disruption of movement in many communities.

The statement has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians urging the government to engage him, while others questioned his motives.
