Transfer Rumours: Tottenham Target Triple Striker Swoop Including USMNT Star Balogun

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly exploring a major shake-up of their attack, with up to three new forwards on their wishlist.
According to a report by ESPN, Spurs have identified USMNT and AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun as a key target. The 25-year-old, who netted 19 goals in 43 games for Monaco last season and has impressed for the USA at the 2026 World Cup with three goal contributions in two appearances, is being considered alongside other high-profile names.
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi is said to be keen to add more firepower despite the club already spending £229.5 million this summer. Talks are ongoing over Manchester City’s Savinho, while Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo is also listed as a target.
Other names linked include Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. Jackson, 25, who is valued at £65m and is also attracting interest from Aston Villa, has returned to Chelsea after a loan spell at Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Galatasaray have reportedly improved their offer for Osimhen to meet his €75m release clause, with the striker said to be keen on the move.
No formal approach has yet been made by Tottenham for Jackson, but the North London club are understood to be assessing all options as De Zerbi promised another transfer “bomba” before the season starts.
