Music producer Femi Dapson has revealed details of his pastor father-in-law’s reaction after he pulled an unusual stunt at his wife’s bridal shower.

Recall that in May, lifestyle influencer Simi Sanya had her bridal shower with friends, a night before her wedding to Femi. The party took a surprising twist when Femi arranged for male strippers to surprise his wife in public.

Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Femi explained that the strippers were actually his friends and he only wanted to break from the norm. According to him, he finds the traditional idea of just giving flowers boring and wanted to do something different and memorable for his wife.

The move, however, did not go unnoticed. Femi disclosed that his father-in-law, who is a pastor, called him afterwards to question his decision. He added that his wife herself later asked him to stop hiring strippers for her.
